Coins dated 1986 through early 2021 feature John Mercanti's Heraldic Eagle reverse, while later 2021 through 2025 coins feature Emily Damstra's landing eagle design. Please note that the U.S. Mint did not issue a Proof Silver Eagle in 2009.
